Laver & Wood Cricket Bats

I received the bat today and it is exactly how I wanted. Their lowest Quality I felt is the best Quality. The quality and the bat is the best than you buy in shops.

Being able to customize a bat or copy an old favorite is just awesome!Laver & Wood make seriously good bats and James provides exceptional customer service.Would recommend you dont sit on the fence thinking about ordering a bat from these guys, order one... and start hitting it over the fence!

I have bought THREE Laver and Wood cricket bats. I keep coming back because not only because they are a local company but because I honestly believe James and the team know what each individual needs and produces a bat to suit the style of the buyer. My latest purchase is an indoor cricket bat (YES THEY MAKE AWESOME INDOOR CRICKET BATS!) Perfect weight, perfect balance, perfectly made. I two years I am due for another Outdoor cricket bat and I will not hesitate to come back to Laver and Wood to get my next beast! I have batted with Gray Nicholls, GMs, Kookuburras, New Balance, Puma, SS, Millichamp & Hall and I have even tried other custom Bat makers like B3, Hell4Leather and JPGavan and I can honestly say, in my opinion, that the Laver and Wood is THE BEST bat I have ever owned and ever played with. However, I would suggest you get the highest grade you can afford because you will reach the boundary every time with a superior High Grade Bat.

This review is a bit of a belated one so apologies, I attended your head quarters when it was based in Otane way back in 2000/ 2001 for a bat sizing and got a custom bat made. It wasnt long after that I relocated to NSW and used that bat for a season or two here in Aus. What I remember was the service was fantastic and that willow from the private bin range provided many great memories. Think I first saw you at a test match or a ODI between AUS and NZ at McLean park you had a tent setup showcasing bat making... good to see your still plying the craft, Thanks James

I have ordered 3 bats in last 2 years from Laver and wood. I ordered a Reserve special profile and a legend both bats were really nice, and up to the specifics I provided. However recently i ordered a butterfly willow bat, I provided instructions on how I wanted the bat.... I must say it surpassed all expectations i had, it's one of the best bats I ever owned. I recommend Layer and Wood bats to anyone who is looking for a bat up to the expectations they have.

James is great to deal with. Onto my second bat with Laver & Wood and both times the process has been smooth. There is a great deal of trust placed in the team to deliver bats that meet the standard agreed on, especially when you are an 'average joe' not a professional cricketer. To date I have not been disappointed and even when things do not go quite to plan the team goes above and beyond to rectify any issues without hassle.
