I'm a long time customer of David Watt Auto. Over the years up to the present I have returned again and again because they have saved me thousands of dollars in auto repairs.Their accurate diagnoses of my vehicles' problems have meant I usually needed to replace only a single component - saving me money every time. I have never had any problems with work done and I have never felt that they over-charged me.Apart from vehicle repairs, their advice on any automotive subject has always proven valuable.

I have one rating by some one who is a bad dept and told to leave, they in turn left a one star. They opened and closed a Facebook acc to do only that . That is the sort of person I am glad to tell them to leave.Modified cars that are too low to go on either the brake test lane or hoists are told that because they are too low they bottom out on the equipment and we are unable to carry out the wof test. We do not know this until we begin the test. Just to clear a few things up.Also for those that do not know me I had my wof inspecting cert momentarily suspended as a young man doing an apprenticeship with us was relieved of his apprenticeship and job and 12 months later lied to nzta saying he was carrying out the inspections and that i was not road testing for a wof, we have a brake road and doesn't require a road test and the young man who comes from a religious background was found to be lying. Just a bit of an insite to get the truth out there.

My most trusted mechanic. I live in Hamilton East and deliberately drive over specifically to take my car to David. Always very transparent about what my car needs and doesn't patronize me which I appreciate.

Had Replaced two front shocks for my lexus rx350.Value for money was the best I have experienced from a mechanical workshop ever.He told me his philosophy was to simply add value to people's lives so that they would always come back.Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back to Dave and his family team for future automotive work/servicing.
