Great spot for an overnight snooze even if you're non self contained. Face your vehicle by the river so you don't get hit by truck headlights every so often from the highway. Wasn't noisy. Toilets are reasonably clean and there are trash bins too. Lady that was clearing the bins was super friendly!

We stayed here for one night. Really good views and tidy campsite. Flushed toilets and some long drops further down hill. Be prepared for some noise of the highway, but after 6 pm it gets more quiet.

Great little freedom camping spot. Had clean flushing toilets down one end and bins for waste. There were also 2 other long drops and bins scattered around (these were overflowing). Found a nice private spot down by the boat ramp and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bugs weren't too bad either. Only downside is the proximity to the highway.

Great for freedom campers as wonderful views, take toilet paper and don't expect a swim as it's definitely duck country.

This is my to go place when visiting Wanaka/Queenstown or any nearby town. About 30-60 minutes drive away from great towns. They do have toilet and wifi too! Youll get noise at night as it is beside the highway but its easy to find. Be careful when turning right if coming from the other side of the road. Plenty of space to park and camp. Been here twice, summer and winter. Summer was a bit full but can manange to fit and winter you'll see 0-3 other freedom campers. Photos were taken mid winter.

we found the best spot. turn right when you enter, go to the end and you will find just one level spot. almost in the water.it is away from the toilet.the fast flowing water was mesmerising, and seeing the waterbirds was really entertaining.beautiful and free camp.in mid november there was still some snow on the mountains.many wineries in this area.

Has got common toilets. Network coverage was medium. Just by the river. Very pleasant experience to spend a night there..
