Closes around 6pm as usually around. Has got The Warehouse, Sushi and food courts, two dollar shops (Dollar Save), The Chemist Warehouse, cafes, McD etc. Plenty of onsite parking available.

Had a shop in here, and some lunch at the chop n wok. Yummmmy food. This plateful was a 2 dish combo with rice. Choose what you want, grab a drink and enjoy!

South City is one of the only malls in town that has stuck to its rustic low to middle income bracket customers. It's pretty much looked the same as long as I have been around. Still has a good collection of shops and an nice range of food in the forecourt.

Starting to loose relevance as a shopping destination, since The Warehouse and the supermarket moved out it has become a little sad. It's made up now of seconds and clearance outlets accompanied by the obligatory Chemist Warehouse, McDonald's and Chinese food offerings. At least there's plenty of parking now....

Not as busy mall from what I remember it was many years ago but sitting down with cup coffee the traffic of people was a good even flow. Great food court of assorted cuisine and notice a few new shops that are worth looking at. Shame to see a great place like this go down very quickly. Needs more custom in the real friendly assorted stores

The mall is showing its age a little these days but it's still going strong due to its central location. For me, it's standout stall is and always will be the JapaNZ Bakery which fir me personally thump many of the so called pie makers across Aotearoa. Their cookies and puddings are also irresistibly divine!

I really enjoyed my visit to this mall. The mall was very clean and tidy, and the staff including the security personnel, were all very friendly and helpful. My son especially loved the newly-added children's play zone, which has become his favorite place in the mall. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this mall to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly shopping destination
