Micimage Wedding Photography

Micky recently took images of our wedding and what we received exceeded all expectations. We're used to being behind the camera and not Infront of it so were worried it was going to feel strange but the manner in which Micky took that photos had us both feeling very relaxed and natural. As a result the images were outstanding. He even managed to get our 14 month old daughter smiling for the camera. No easy feat!We were sent a selection of images within a couple of days and we would of honestly been happy with just them. A few weeks later we received a link to a beautiful online gallery full of images with the ability to share the link to family and friends.Thank you so much for perfectly capturing our day.

Mickey photographed our wedding in Dec 2022. Words can’t describe how perfect the photos are and how he captured the essence of the day. My husband and I had a wonderful time doing a Rock the Frock and portrait session with Mickey. We were connected to Mickey by another fantastic Wanaka based photographer and we are so thrilled that we were. We came to New Zealand on our honeymoon from the U.S. in November, and hoped to take a heli up to the mountains for some really dramatic photos while we were spending time in Wanaka. We scheduled to do the photos on Monday, but the weather kept us from doing a heli trip. Mickey kept in touch with us while monitoring the weather, and thankfully was so patient that he allowed us to reschedule for Tuesday, and then even again on Wednesday when the weather did not improve. We are so grateful to him for his flexibility! Once it was clear that the original plan was not going to work, Mickey had some back up locations already in mind. He put us at ease during the session (my husband is not always comfortable posing for photos) and captured exactly what we wanted. We had so much fun and such a positive experience working with Mickey. We love every photo, as do our friends and family. Mickey was wonderful to work with, we highly recommend him!

Mickey was so lovely to work with!We already loved his photography style, however we briefed him on something slightly different from what he usually shoots. He completely understood our brief and found the perfect site for us to take the photos. He made us feel super comfortable and made the whole process felt really easy. We were really happy with what he delivered in the end for us.
