First stop after arriving at our accomodation. Food was so beautiful and delicious. Will definitely go back if we have time.

Gyoza and mini springrolls were just average, highlight of the takeaway.Yakisoba had way too much sauce, noodles were soggy, nothing tasted fresh and made me feel kind of weird afterwards.Maybe Is should've ordered something else but was craving Japanese style noodles and this missed the mark by far.

Would give 100 stars if I could!! I was after some authentic and delicious Asian food for my birthday and this place hit the spot perfectly! The best Mapo-tofu I’ve ever had in my life and a very unique Chashu fried rice that will have me going back for more in the future. The smell of the wok fire wafting from the kitchen as the chef whipped up my meals was divine. I even asked for a takeaway meal after I finished so I could give some to my family. Forget about all those fancy Asian-fusion restaurants with pitiful portions and crazy prices! Come to Matsu for your Asian cuisine cravings and you won’t regret! Even better, you can get their food ubered to your house if you are in central Auckland.
