From the moment you walk into this store, it doesn't feel like Dunedin or even NZ anymore. This place is incredible and we are so lucky to have it here.Absolutely delicious and the staff/owners are lovely. Have begun a new tradition, a cheesecake on every special occasion or potluck dinner night when I dont know what to bring. Great prices and sooooo many options.

The Cheesecake shop is becoming my new great experience. The lady who served us is delightful. The cakes on their own are worth every cent: light, flavoursome, incredibly balanced and well-thought! Great recipies. Highly recommended esp. the fruit flan... and about everthing we tried to be honest!

Ordered a rainbow cake with custom coloured cream for a birthday, the cake was ready exactly when they said it would be. Looked great, tasted great!I thought it was a bit pricey but compared to other places in Dunedin it’s worth it.

Che carrot cake is nice and moist however it’s not giving carrot cake there is hardly any carrot and you can mostly just taste spice. Their American baked cheesecake is not authentic and their tiramisu tastes like it was made with instant coffee not espresso. Would recommend trying these items.

Fantastic service. Popped in last minute for a birthday cake for my daughter and they were very accommodating, had exactly what she wanted and were super friendly and helpful. Cake looks amazing!

I ordered a Mint Chocolate cake- the cake looked fantastic- just like the picture online. But the taste was average at best, bland sugary goo. Hardly a hint of Mint. The team on the phone were also totally useless, could not understand me when I asked for a Mint Chocolate cake, said sorry we only have chocolate mint cakes. They were not joking- they just seemed a few sandwiches short of a lunchbox. I had to repeat my request 3 times.

The store messed up my order and ruined my daughter's birthday plan. The cake wasn't ready 2 hrs after the time it was supposed to be ready. They didn't know what cake we ordered and decorated a frozen cake for us.The manager and owner were incapable the most basic apology. I took the matter to the cheesecake shop headquarter. Waiting to hear the results. Regardless neverever will be back to this store. Details of my experience is available on social media and I shared with others what has happened. Not much to my surprise other people told me about their recent awful experience in this store. Unfortunately it seems after changing the ownership a store once popular went quickly downhill.My experience with this store doesn't deserve any stars. By far the worst customer service I ever experienced in my life and the quality of cake is another unpleasant experience.
