We wanted a bench fire, there was only one on the market by another provider which we did't like. We asked Metro to modify this one from their range , which originally is manufactured on a pedistal. We are absolutely thrilled with it, it has been finished beautifully.Metro worked with us and our plumber who installed it, to ensure we had the look we wanted as well as met all code of compliance specificatons.very highly recommend Metro.

We bought the Wee Rad many years ago now for our holiday home. It is a beautiful looking heater but better than that is it's performance. We can get up in the morning stoke the coals and we are off and running again. I recently contacted Metro Pioneer as we had an enquiry, their service and promt reply was professional to say the least. We are extremely happy with the heater and are now researching for another one for our home. Brilliant customer service, somewhat hard to find these days. Fantastic staff in New Plymouth who are keen to go the extra mile to help out. We recently installed a Ambie Plus fire and couldnt be happier. The heat output is fantastic in our large open plan home and when the fire is out - no mess can be seen! We are thrilled with our purchase and highly recommend Metro to deal with.

I have the midsized metro fire and love it! It was installed in 2006 and is still going strong after all these years. I love that it is made in NZ and that you can easily get parts for it. Always great service from the Taranaki team. Would highly recommend.

We have a Mega Rad wood burner. It is fantastic, really churns out the heat with a great display of flames in the large glass screen. Highly recommend !

We brought the Megarad recently as it had a rating of 21kw sight unseen. It was recommended by friends. We had been very disappointed with our previous wood burner from a well known brand. When it arrived we thought we had overshot the size as I'm sure we could cremate bodies in it it was so big. Several weeks on with very cold weather it heats our cold 1960's 400+sqm 2 storied home fabulously. Sometimes I complain the house is too warm and the fire has been on damper much of the day.

Found metro fires to provide a very professional service.Installed the mega rad into our large open plan space which more than sufficiently heats this area, with the excess heat being moved to the four bedrooms via the metro heat transfer kit.We would absolutely recommend these products as a quality and efficient way of heating your home plus the added bonus of the amazing ambience.Thanks again to Jarrad for all his great help & advise to ensure the right fit for our home.
