I don't usually write a restaurant review but this restaurant is the best compared to the rest of Indian restaurants in Dunedin and Invercargill. I ordered cheese and Naan bread and it's bigger and tastier, lamb shank with shiraz was delish. I feel like this is the most authentic Indian food here. Also, not overly priced!

Ordered directly from them with a delivery order. Arrived on time and hot which is more than can be said for local deliver ezy services. Cheaper too.Lamb Vindaloo and Bhindi Masala were excellent.

Went for lunch today. Delicious food, able to make our order vegan. Definitely recommend and will be back when we next visit invercargill

I rarely leave feedback, but this one deserves five stars for the food.I ordered panner makhani with panner nan and would say that I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants and this one is probably one of the best in terms of food quality and taste.I absolutely love it

I will only go here when I visit town. I've been to every Curry house in town. And whilst I had a regular I went to, this is now outshining it in quality, quantity and price.Thier medium is perfect if you like to taste the meal over numbing your tounge.I strongly recommend thier Chicken Do Pyaza if your unsure on what to get. Don't be basic and get a bitter chicken. These guys know thier curry.

Awesome customer service, simple store layout which is great for dining in. Definitely recommend if you love curry or Indian food. And the food is so Amazing!!! They also have cheaper prices compared to other Indian cuisine places 100% recommendedOnly cost me 16.90 for regular curry and rice with a Naan bread on topThanks for the great service, friendly and welcoming environment.Ka pai! I am Rukmal (A regular customer)The best biriyani in town; I've tried biriyani from every Indian restaurant in Invercargill, and none compare to the taste of Bay Leaf Curry House. The portion is very large (good value for money) and full of finely marinated meat pieces (very generous with meat / the biriyani is full of meat). There hasn't been a week that I haven't had a Chicken biriyani from Bay Leaf Curry House. Strongly recommendedOther dishes and bread I've tried include butter chickens, a mixed platter, tandoori chicken, aloo paratha, and garlic naan tandoori roti, all of which are delicious.You must try it for yourself; you will not be disappointed, but rather delighted.
