Great place to stay while you are in Dunedin. The apartment is super comfortable and the staff is very kind and helpful.We would definitely come back.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at this lovely apartment style motel. The owners were so welcoming, hospitable and very knowledgeable of the area. This was our first time visiting Dunedin but it will not be our last. Great location..walkable to shops, restaurants and the city centre. Plenty of parking. We look forward to returning and staying here again. Highly recommend!

This would be the best place we have stayed in so far. Very friendly service, great little introduction to the town of Dunedin when we checked in showing us highlights of the town on a map (like the steepest street in the world) and also nice touches in our apartment like the bathroom floor heating and towel rail heating were already on (only place so far that has done this).

Would recommend this motel. Lovely big room and bathroom. Tastefully decorated without being OTT with comfortable big bed and lovely furniture and fittings. Would definitely stay again.

Wow! What a fab, comfortable, very clean motel. We were able to use the laundry. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thankyou for making the end of our trip so enjoyable. Absolutely recommend the bedroom suite!

We have not long returned from an 8 day stay with a sports team. We were treated like family and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and warm and our stay was made so much better by having luxury accommodation. It makes all the difference having a comfy bed and sofas to lounge on, especially when you're there for a week.

858 George Street is an awesome place to stay in Dunedin! I had stayed here with family years ago and am so happy I came back to stay again. The owner/operators are so nice and it has a great feel to the place. The room was very warm (8 degrees outside), and surprisingly quite considering the busy George Street just outside. A bit more young/student area of town, which is great that you don’t hear noise from the rooms! Beds are perfect, room well appointed and very tall ceilings make you feel like a nice apartment compared to a small hotel room. Ours had a bath in a massive bathroom, a small, separated kitchenette, and a nice bedroom/lounge. Highly recommend and about a 20 minute walk into the heart of Dunedin city, or a 5 minute drive down the main road. Will stay here again and again.

We felt so lucky to have found such a lovely place to stay in Dunedin and we hated to leave. Sally and Michael are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The apartments are charming, spacious and spotlessly clean. Other reviews mentioned noise, but while we were there we admired how quickly enforcement officers responded to a situation and resolved the issue. We slept very well. Dunedin is a fun and lively university town and this location is close to everything-campus, groceries, shopping, and downtown.

I hugely recommend this place! We were wowed when we entered the room, or safe to say, a small apartment! It included a spacious kitchenette and living room (with tv) overlooking the main street with huge windows, a huge bedroom (another tv), overlooking the same road and a very spacious bathroom. We really loved this place and appreciated the effort put to make each guest happy and comfortable. The owners and their daughter were super nice and genuine, it's so sad we had to stay for only 1 night. Would stay here for sure if we had to return to Dunedin!
