River Rock Estate

We loved our stay here. Our host were fabulous and the location perfect. The accommodation fee was more than offset by the beautiful wines we got to taste. Highly recommend for couples.

As a treat we booked a pool house spa. You get plenty of time to fully refresh yourselves. We enjoyed every moment of it. Being able to swim/spa and look out at the vinyard views. Can't fault this as a relaxing and warm experience!

LOVED this winery and powered camp site!! We stayed 1 night at River Rock Estate in April at one of the powered camp sites. In my opinion, this was the best stay of our entire 3-week trip in New Zealand. Great value for money. Staying next to the vinyard was so special, everything was clean, well maintained - there is a wine tasting at 5pm. Jan and Graeme were the most fantastic hosts, so welcoming and kind. We also used the hot pools that were onsite, and again this was such an incredible experience. I can't recommend a better place to stay and also amazing wine! We will absolutely go back the next time we're in New Zealand.

My wife and I stayed over the weekend with a 'soak and stay' package. This is a 'must do' experience if you are coming into Central Otago. So much to say that is positive, the spa - so relaxing, private and worth the experience. The rooms - excellent, clean, comfortable and heaps of little treats. The hosts - Graeme and Jan put on a complimentary wine tasting at 5pm - wines are superb. The location is really central particularly if you do the Dunstan Trail on e-bikes which we did. Full 5 star rating this place is fantastic highly recommend.

Our second stay here. This time we were here for two nights in the 2 bedroom cottage. All beautifully appointed with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean. Hosts Graeme and Jan-Marie are super friendly and the wine tasting in the evening is great fun. This place is a wee gem and definitely worth a visit!

Wow! What a find!We stayed at River Rock Estate for one night, on their powered camper site, and also booked a session in the twin tubs hot pools.From start to finish Jan and Graeme were really accommodating, very friendly, and made us feel extremely welcome!The powered site was very spacious, happily fitting our 7.5m van. The facilities very clean and fresh.The hot pools, WOW! Well worth booking, we loved them. The addition of complementary bottle of wine, chosen from the inclusive wine tasting session, snacks and water were such a great touch too!The vineyard is such a beautiful place, everything is pristine, such a calming place to be.Thank you both again for our stay, we really enjoyed meeting you both too! Hopefully we’ll be back to NZ soon!

What a gorgeous place to stay. The accommodation was stunning, the attention to detail was spot on. Beautiful on-site spa baths with a view over the snowy ranges. Excellent hosts and great wine tasting. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely Stunning for a Romantic getaway. Hot tubs with view of vines and mountains. Definitely do the Wine tasting. Beautifully presented place. Great hospitality very welcoming.
