Gorgeous beach. Only easily accessible one in the region we could find that allowed dogs and was safe enough for kids.The wave are incredible but break far enough from the shore that they aren't too crazy, as well as the cold water stream, makes it a good place for kids and dogs. Nice tracks if you want to go exploring.

Great beach. It was a bit rough when i went- but still fun to get in and cool off.There is lots of Parking but if a public holiday is a nice day- its still going to be hard to park.

Beautiful beach and one of the best we encountered in the Coromandel. Not overly busy either. Nice little beach break for surfing and plenty of shade with pohutakawas edging the beach.

Wonderful views,dog beach and history,(Theres a board showing the history on the way down to the beach ) and toilets in the car park.

Sailors Grave is located in the eastern Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand. It's a secluded beach that's known for its crystal-clear water, white sand, and stunning views. The beach is surrounded by rugged cliffs and native bush, which makes it a great spot for hiking and exploring. The area is also known for its excellent surfing conditions, although the waves can be quite challenging. Overall, Sailors Grave is a beautiful and peaceful spot that's definitely worth a visit!
