Only go here if you like thick cut strips of raw onion overpowering the dish with uncooked cabbage in unflavoured noodles. Had no sauce on chicken. Way better at Wellington or Kapiti 1. 2 stars as it was served hot

I thought that I was going to be the only one to complain about the customer service, the grumpy lady and the food is being changed because the rice was not enough cooked...For the same reason I removed stars.because we customers pay first for good customer service and second for something that delights our palate (food).

The dirtiest filthiest food shop I have ever been in. Flies everywhere and flies sitting in uncovered meats behind counter The lady swished them away with her hand but off course they went straight back to the uncovered food. I had orders for 9 people. I told her it was filthy and walked out. Will never go back. Disgusting.

Queens Drive, Lower Hutt, a quiet night, I were the only customer in the store, placed my order and tried a bit of small talk, all I got was a blank look then she turned her back and walked away from me, when the meal was ready it was slapped on the counter, no bag, nothing said, then I were watched like a Hawk when I collected a wooden spoon and fork, I love Noodle Canteen, but you couldn't pay me to walk back into that store, common courtesy goes a long way.

The food is always fine but the staff really could do with some lessons in customer service. Unfriendly, unhelpful and basically you feel like your custom doesn't matter, it's just about the money.

Horrible experience, I asked for mild chicken fried rice and they made it extremely spicy. When I went back in to tell them it was spicy they tried to argue that it wasn't and they only put a little bit of spice in, we wanted mild which is essentially no spice and the ingredients list doesn't say any spice. When a customer tells you what they want don't go changing it to suit you. Won't be coming back.

Just got delivered the honey chicken noodle from lower-hutt store. The chicken" was so fried it was only batter. I had no meat at all. This is the worst meal I've ever had with them. $17.50 down the drain. Disappointed

Ordered Honey Chicken noodle a few days ago and got some of the worst food poisoning of my life, ill spare you the details but im Still recovering from it. Never getting food from them again. Horrible experience.

Ordered online, they took the money out of my account, when I got to the place they said that they don't do internet orders, and suddenly remembered that she can't speak English. She thought it was funny. If you get this runaround contact Tucker box on 07-8083088. They are the people who handle the payments. They don't give this number out, but I guess that's just too bad.

Noodle Canteen has been nothing but consistent, whether it be here or anywhere else in the country. Number 17 has been my go to for the past decade and they've never skimped on portion. The staff, as always, is friendly and provides excellent service. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for some satisfying Asian cuisine.
