Very friendly service, very fresh, meat hot & juicy, very nicely presented. Yip furnishings a wee bit tired but food quality easily made up for the well used surroundings, don't let that put you off. Would definitely go there again.

27th June 2023.Brought the Lamb Iskender tonight. Looked good.The fellow serving me was more than polite and courteous.But I have to say the lamb was pretty dry and seemed like it had been cooked and reheated many hours prior.Id have had no issues whatsoever but for that.Salads and sauces were great but the lamb meat was a bit of a let down.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent food. We dropped in late and this place was calling to us. The food was really good authentic Turkish, the flavour combinations were excellent

We decided to dine in at this place because of the positive reviews. We were disappointed instead.My partner's was yummy and he ate it all. Mine was a mixed Iskender the meat were good but the rice was not cooked. Raw and inedible. Ended up eating just a quarter of it. The real breaker was when a wee bird flew inside the restaurant and hopped on top of the falafel then started eating it. We tried to wait for the staff but no got no reaction from him. I ended up shooing the bird and then the staff came and asked if I am alright and was not able to notice the bird. We informed him and he said it's the first time but we doubt it. We ended up walking away after. Foood sanitation and hygiene are very important and not having covers on your food encourages birds nesting outside the shop esp the door is wide open. Wouldn't come back.

We had the most tasty kebabs from here. The owner seems to take great pride in service and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. Better that most kebab shops in Wellington.
