Absolutely stellar service.Kevin helped me choose the right carry-all-the-things option for my bike, and knew by heart what sort of brake system I had (so I didn't get something that wouldn't fit). Had my Wattwheels bike repaired under warrantee at Papanui Cycles - the bike was originally purchased from them. While the repair seems to be OK the service was terrible. The owner insisted I pay the labour part of the repair (the parts were apparently only covered by the warrantee) even though it was well within the warrantee period. I have taken issue with the $180 invoice for the labour. I would not recommend Papanui Cycles to anyone based on this and other recent experiences.

Bought a commuter bike for my son here. Excellent advice and great service. Kevin gave us great information and even pointed us towards some other shops to check out similar bikes that they did not stock. In the end we went back to Papanui cycles as they had the best deal and the best bike.

Last Saturday biked to shop to get cassette and chain for partners bike took wheel with me to get right parts and they put on new cassette no chargefor labour . Awesome thanks. Will make papanui cycles my go to bike shop.

Made the mistake of buying a bike here. Terrible customer service, its like you're an inconvenience by being in their store. Extremely rude and very disorganisedResponse to owner:Instead of worrying about who I am perhaps look inwards at yourselves. I would like to remain anonymous so that any future dealings with this business in regards to my purchase are not even worse than what I already anticipate
