Had the chicken tikka masala, very yummy. But the garlic on the naan bread wasn’t cooked through. Naan bread was good tho. Mango lassi was also very good

This is the 10th time, I have been to this place since moving to Hobsonville earlier this year.I have taken family and friends and they have been extremely enthusistic about the experience. The food is outstanding. Fresh and each dish has individuality and character. The staff are delightful.My cousins and friends tonight said, it was the best Indian meal they ever had in NZ.Prawn and mushroom curry, dhal, tandoori chicken, garlic Naan, chicken korma, lamb Rogan Josh, all were delicious. Also recommend the fish curry.I love this place.

What a pleasure to have met and heard the history from the very pleasant owner who served us! Delightful atmosphere, service and divine flavours, there's nowhere as delicious for Indian flavour.

Ghee chicken roast.... Mmmmm... Just mmmmmm.... The naans are so SOFT.... Rogan Josh perfect.... And the mango Lassi was on point too....Definitely going there when I need a Desi fix when in Auckland....

May 2023This was our first time here. The food was excellent and certainly what we expected. The table service was very good too and the proprietor was happy to explain the decorations that surrounded the restaurant. These decorations depicted the proprietors' cooking journey in India and enhanced the Atmosphere of the restaurant. Will certainly recommend Indian Summer to my friends.

Excellent dine-in atmosphere for a suburban Indian restaurant. Flavours have nothing to write home about, no authenticity in flavours period. Flavours are too sweet and too Europeanised despite letting them know we wanted authentic Indian spicy. Our take away order took over 45 minutes, so not too impressed. This isn't the first time we've ordered but there are only so many opportunities you can give.

It was first visit in India summer restaurant. Awesome food and service. We had paneer tikka masala and chicken korma great taste. Tried dessert mango kulfi and gulab jamun. Best mango kulfi I have ever tried. I recommend to book table.

Excellent service! Food always tastes great! There was a minor mix up with our order so they made us a new order within about 5mins, and gave us some extras for free. Highly recommend!
