NZ Van Lines - New Plymouth Movers

Bobby and the team were a lifesaver! I got stood up by another company and was sitting outside my storage unit waiting to move all my stuff to my first home in Te Hāwera for a mover who never arrived (or called). Thank goodness for these guys! Bobby was able to organise a truck and team from Pukeāriki/Ngāmotu that afternoon, and instead of costing me an arm and a leg, the bill was super reasonable and I paid what I had been quoted by the other 2 guys for 3 men at short notice. In short, they were just awesome and I would definitely recommend!

Communication: I had to resend almost every single email a couple of times then chase with a phone call before I got a reply. Even then the communication were inaccurate and they didn’t honour what they committed to.Packing: for a 4 bedroom house, one guy showed up and was missing essential packing materials. Because it was home on his own for the most part he took a number of shortcuts that I am now paying for.Delivery: a number of items were poorly packed and poorly handled that they were damaged. Some of the items he dismantled arrived missing essential screws and bolts and nuts that I can’t assemble them. At least for items were gone missing. The boxes where so poorly labelled they are now sitting all over my garage I don’t know what belongs where that I have to open them box by box to figure it all out. I’m horrified at what other surprises await me as I open the boxes. Absolute waste of disappointment of a service that I paid a premium for!!

The service we received from NZ Vans was fantastic! We found Dean , Bobbie , Robyn and the team excellent to deal with. Nothing was a problem and we would certainly recommend them to anyone. Had some furniture items delivered from New Plymouth to Wellington. Well wrapped (although I worry about the huge amount of plastic used for wrapping these days) and no damage. Good service, with a phone call the day before to let us know what time they would deliver.

We were let down by another company to move a piano upto Auckland so we're basically stuck. Rung these guys through word of mouth and without hesitation it was picked up the next day and for a cheaper price . Thanks heaps guys .

A really professional experience right from the first point of contact at their office, with a lovely admin person Robyn, who left me feeling confident that their staff were very professional and will do a great job, which indeed they did. The three guys who did the move were extremely nice, personable and very good at making it all happen fast and efficiently. Even the gale force winds didn't stop them from staying positive and getting everything loaded into the truck with speed. Highly recommended and would definitely use this company again 10/10

Nz van lines seemed very good and well priced. Once we got our quote for moving from north to south its was over priced and left out insurance with nothing to indicate the fact. I recommend Taranaki relocations. Saved a grand.
