The staff is very indifferent, we waited for so long with no service. Finally we got the menu from the counter by ourselves. The food is delicious but expensive. I think there are so many better restaurants than this one.

They just updated the decoration and changed the menu. Environment is better. Food is good and authentic. Crayfish is good and reasonable.

Best Chinese we’ve had in all of the South Island!!! Coming from Sydney, we are MORE than spoilt for choice when it comes to good-value, authentic and tasty Chinese food but we were so impressed by the quality, quantity, and price, of this humble, inconspicuous-looking Chinese restaurant.We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after our initial dinner plans fell through - and we’re so glad they did.Disregard the haters - pricing is more than fair for the quality and quantity of food you are receiving. This is a restaurant, not a fast-food take away.

We had no issues coming on a Wednesday around 5pm. No wait, staff was very attentive, and food came very quickly.There was a large selection of vegetable dishes, all seasoned well. The portions were also very generous compared to other Chinese restaurants we had around Queenstown. The dishes were prepared very well too, compared to both Chinese restaurants in the USA and Queenstown, NZ.
