Sunglass Hut Albany

I am giving one star because there is no Zero star option!Such a poor customer service. We had a pair of sunglasses which were originally brought from the dress smart store and one side of the screw got lost. We went to the Albany store to see if we could get help to fixe it. The store manager who names Jiva? Not even able to speak proper English just took a glance and said she had never seen this brand before (Excuse me, does that means it’s not fancy enough in your store?). We got receipt on our phone and it’s literally available on your store website! She told us they don’t do repairs and asked why we are not go back to check with the dress smart store. It’s okay if you can’t fix the problem, but there is no need to be so rude and attitude! In the end, we got it fixed at another glasses store inside the Westfield mall and cost $20. Its not about paying the money, its about being valued and served as a customer. CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I honestly do not know why this manager is still there considering her manner toward customers. I’ve been there once and ended up going to sun glass style and found that manager to be so helpful. My partner went to sun glass hut today and mentioned the same thing about the rudeness of the manager. He wasn’t aware that I too had a poor experience with the manager from this store.

Went to Sunglass Hut in Albany to look at getting a pair of good sunglasses. I found the staff were great and their service was fantastic. Highly recommended

DO NOT GO HERE.To the Chinese and Indian worker, this is a dear letter to you, because of your poor hospitality skills Sunglass Hut is going to be losing another customer.My parents have bought a sunglass for Christmas on 21/12/2022, roughly month ago. Within 2 weeks of purchase, one of the frames of the sunglass started to loosen up. When I opened both frames at the same time, one was really lose compared to another. I spent $520, on Prada, high quality brand sunglass and it just didn’t seemed to be in right condition for its brand.So we went back and they just tightened the screw on the frame and asked us to come and tighten it when it comes loose and if it continues, and that on the 3rd visit, they’ll give us a new one.On the 3rd visit they said there is a scratch and because they cannot “RESELL” the product, they cannot give us another one. So.. they were going to resell this product when the frame becomes loose within a week? I wouldn’t be surprised if the sunglass I got was second hand too. You can check the photo yourself I do not see a single scratch.I went to the Newmarket Branch and they gave me a new one straight away.

I have bought a Bulgari Sunglasses from one of Sunglass Hut stores here in New Zealand, Albany.However, after 2-3 Months of usage occasionally I noticed that the glasses/lenses that are one of those mirrored ones are showing some dots in some locations moreover the lenses near to the part that connects to the nose has started showing signs if deteriorations.I managed to show my sunglasses in-store to the store manager of Albany branch, Shiva"

Never have I ever been so embarrassed, while browsing at the sun glasses hut in Albany Westfield. The manager was a great help at the start, how ever she became very rude and extremely judgmental asking me why I am asking so many questions, I am shopping to spend 450 on a pair of glasses I don't want to rush, I just don't understand it. I have never felt this way and I my self work in retail and would never make a customer feel this way, I don't recommend any one going to this branch and supporting this behavior this is the manager who clearly had no care for how I might feel. It's just a shame as I was having such a great day but none the less I will continue on. I hope no one else has to go through such a terrible experience. Really never felt so judged in my life. I feel bad for those who have to deal with things like this on the daily. I am well dressed and well presented. I take pride in my appearance with a button up shirt. I guess it's just another's opinion at the end of the day. But wow very unprofessional. Never have I or would I do this during my time in retail as a manager

This branch should close. bought an Oakley and fitted on site, I told them it feels tight and was told thats normal, came back after a day to say its really tight and i need it replaced, gave the same story they do as per previous feedbacks - scratched and etc etc, very very rude easter european staff, cant even speak good english

Amazing service from the lady there. She handed me multiple glasses to try amd helped me a lot. She was never pushy or rushed me along. Great service.

Terrible service from the manager wouldnt recommend any one going here shiva (manager) should not be representing the company or any company for that matter. shameful service and it looks bad on the company. I guess they dont care about that. Speaks volumes about not only this store but the company as a whole. Dont waste your time or money here other sunglasses hut I have visited had fine service but this was beyond unprofessional
