Brightr New Plymouth: Heat Pumps, Ventilation & Insulation

Professional service, polite and friendly, efficient. Listened and recognized some confusion about intended installation, identified mistakes made and rectified without any real hassle. I felt reassured and trust that the correct system was installed that will meet my needs.

This whole process to get a heat pump installed has been incredibly slow with poor communication. Started off in January. The sales part went okay, then silence. Extreme lack of communication. Paid deposit 7th March. Emailed several times asking for an install date. No reply. Called, was told by customer service that the install team would be in touch. Nothing. Finally get a call to say install 2nd May. Sure enough they turn up on time and do a nice job of the install…But apparently their electrician up and left. So it’s not wired up. So no call, nothing, to tell us what’s happening. So I email again. They replied to say they would be in touch on 10th May with ‘an update’ on when we might get it wired up. This is the 5th heat pump I’ve had installed over the years in different houses and the only one I’ve had a problem with. I know companies are busy but communication goes a long way. I started this early in the year so it would be running for winter. So disappointing.

I am beyond pleased with my heatpump (Taranaki Team). The assessor Paul gave me options on where to put it and when the installers, Tobias and Dez came they again, outlined the plan and confirmed so I knew what was happening. Then they went the extra mile, trimming/tidying some wood on the pelmet (which was beyond my scope of skills) taking a if it was my house

Great job, from the Taranaki Team, especially the installers. Very friendly. They turned up on time, told me how the morning would go, asked me when turning the power on and off. They cleaned up and even offered to vacuum the inside area of the house. Very Professional. Great Job. Thanks.

Some areas of insulation were a bit iffy but overall it's pretty good. They did get back to us in the end
