We couldn't be more grateful to Nicola at Commodore Motel for saving us at short notice after we were badly let down by another motel. On top of the incredible service the unit turned out to be fantastic - clean, warm, spacious, inviting, great location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great stay with our family. We stayed in the peak winter in July2022. Very nice and friendly owner. Shopping centers and fast food outlets in walking distance.

After a 48hr flight from the UK, this was the perfect place to spend a few days. Great location, lovely rooms and excellent staff. Great parking outside the room. I am also very happy that my mobility disability was recognised and I was given a ground floor apartment

Our company have used the Commodore Motel for all our Dunedin accommodation requirements for a number of years as we find the staff are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to fit in with our plans. At times this might mean a late night arrival into Dunedin well outside of office hours, but with a bit of prior communication, our rooms are ready, warm and absolutely no hassle.

Stayed here with family earlier this year during the Easter holidays. We had made the booking for our stay through their website. Check-in was very quick as the usual check-in formalities were done online a day before our arrival. Our rooms were comfortable on the ground floor and had everything necessary for a pleasant stay. I was able to park my vehicle right outside my room. The host was friendly and catered to our requests. Would stay here again.

I have thought long and hard about giving a true indication about how marvellous this place is. Only because I want to come back again and stay again! This Motel has everything you need, the kitchen is well stocked, the rooms are quiet and warm, plenty of space, EXCELLENT Wifi (very important for all the children to either play games, watch movies, etc). I look forward coming back again in September!
