Oceana Walkway is a stunning walk that I do on a regular basis. The seat is a nice place to admire the view of Tairua Ocean Beach, and is located only one set of stairs from the beach itself.

At the end of Tairua Beach, you will find stairs to walk through to Ocean beach to the other side. The stairs are a bit steep but not for long. The area at the end is good for surfing but during strong wind the waves are a bit rough. Nice place to hang out and take walks.

Steeps steps and a winding partially formed path zigzags quickly up the hill from the South end of Ocean Beach to Oceana Heights road.Good footwear essential.No suitable for mobility challenged walkers or very small children.
