V8 Noodle Box

Me and my boyfriend are regulars and we love it! The chips are alright but we usually like to order a container of Asian food rather than the fish and chips. Most the time we get sweet and sour pork or chicken satay noodles because they’re just sooo good. Another great dish from them is their combination meat because they put so much meat in it! The meat is mixed right throughout the whole meal rather than just sprinkling some of it on top of it like a lot of other fish and chip shops do. Excellent service and one time they even gave us a couple of free potato fritters. If we aren’t inside to pick up our order by the time it is done they will bring it out to us :D

Had high hopes with this late night quick bite stop.. Unfortunately despite the owners friendly demeanor, the food was not as pleasant. Chips tasted old, fish was old along with the batter it was encased in...Crumbed prawns were ok however suspect they were store bought as opposed to freshly made onsite. Waste of money as the food was binned and with the overly greasy taste nausea set in.

An unpleasant experience. Food is bland & overpriced compared to other takeaways local in the area. Both me & my partner suffered from mild but unpleasant food poisoning.Not recomended. You will get better value and tastier food else where.

Best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had! Their other dishes are yum as too - really fresh quality ingredients, cooked with care, good sized portions, and all taste beautiful. The fish and chips are also yum :)I highly recommend.

I've had fish and chips from here in the past. Today (28/9/21) wanted a takeaway, and deliberately didn't want to process my debit card (I asked for a cheaper special) asked me to go to an ATM? Sorry, it's covid times and I don't want to touch money... money is dead.. get real... chippy up the road was happy to see me...

Best Chinese Food in Howick.I particularly like the combination meat chowmein. The vegetables are crisp, colourful and full of flavour. The chips are the best I've had in a long time - theres no taste of other food in them so they must change the oil regularly. Truly worth a visit and nice friendly staff.

This place does some of the nicest chips in the local area. We have recently been venturing into their noodle and rice menu too and are very impressed with everything we have tried! Great Portions and great taste.

I bought snapper and chips. They were incredibly greasy and I know it was fish and chips but the grease was extraordinary. The snapper was dry inside the batter with s lot of grease on ghe outside and the chips full of oil and quite a few were burnt. The grease had soaked through the paper. Very disappointed, I shan't be in a hurry to buy a takeaway from there again.

Have been looking for a good takeawy. Awesome food and easy online ordering! Had the honey chicken fried rice and chow mein. Really fresh and delicious! Will definitely be back!

This place used to be amazing before the owner change.Stuck around supporting this business far longer than we should have. 25 minute wait after ordering chips over the phone turned into a walk out at 45 minutes. Service is terrible, they can't keep up with orders, new faces, or english and the food is not worth the wait, (we have had burnt, dried out, offputting food) and have gone from eating dinner here fortnightly to chips on occassion and now I have had more than enough. Maybe I'm just not patient or understanding enough, but this really takes the 'fast' out of fast food"."
