I don't expect much from most takeaway places this way of Hamilton but I was pleasantly surprised by their smorgasbord & how decent it tasted. A bit skint on the chips though the battered fish was 10/10 so it didn't matter.

It is hard finding retailers in Hamilton who have the paywave option to pay. Lucky's is 1 of the few takeaways who offer this method. The food here is delicious & the staff are very nice. Lucky's also offer an online menu to order from & also offer delivery for a fee. Try them out, they do not disappoint.

I bought combination Chinese roast, duck, BBQ pork and roast pork yesterday, it was really good, fresh, perfect seasoning this time, before seasoning was overpowered.

Visit to Hamilton was told this was the place for good Chinese takeaway. How wrong was my friend. We turn up at 8.30pm keeping in mind they close at 9pm. Ordered a meal only to be told we too busy um half hour before closing and two people in the shop. Well we won’t be going there again. I mean you had 30min to cook obvious don’t need the money. Very disappointing

I ordered roasted duck and pork on rice the duck was 90% bone! And 10% meat and skin was over cooked and just absolutely disgusting! The pork had this black gritty stuff on the bottom like it was cooked in filth. I ordered it on Uber eats as well so it cost more. I couldn’t even eat it.If you want food worth every penny don’t go here!

Called 5 times to try order ahead but no answer. Other than that, roast pork lon rice was delicious. Didnt have the usual bok choy, was given broccoli instead.

The soya chicken and roast pork on rice is normally my favourite dish. They no longer do 2 choices. You have to order the soya chicken and then pay $5 for extra meat. They gave me 5 measley pieces of roast pork. The chicken tasted old and was very dry. The rice tasted a bit suspect too. Will not be going back there in a hurry if at all. Very disappointed.
