Met 2 friends here for hot drinks. Friendly efficient women workers. Didn't eat but cabinet food looked amazing. For such a small café within the airport it has a lot to offer on the menu.Delightful for people watching as they ready themselves for flights.

Love the food and ice blocks!! Its the best ice block i have ever had, and its healthy too!!!! Food is very nice so does Coffee!! They also have some local products which is great to support our community!! Love it!

Superb coffee and baked goods. Great with kids too, as there's some comfy sofas, with toys and a toy kitchen for them to play with, or they can just hang out and watch the planes.

SO GOOD! Fly in and out of Whangarei for work and have never been let down by this cafe! Fresh, delicious, homemade proper cafe food. So yummy and the service is uber friendly too. Wish every town had a cafe like this!

This place has terrible service. After 20 mins waiting for a fluffy which was awful and cold even a 4 year wouldn't drink it. I had to go to the counter and ask where it was. It had been sitting their a while. The woman who served me was so rude and I said look I can see it sitting there can I get it now please do it doesn't sit there going cold. She then stood there for 5 minutes just holding it arguing about what order they make drinks in. I asked for the drink and she said oh you want it then handed it over.

The Airport cafe was quiet at the time we visited. The 2 women behind the counter were engrossed in food preparation and were in no hurry to serve. Coffee was hot and good. Had a warm mixed berry and white chocolate slice with mascarpone which was delicious.

Great service. Coffee was really hot and delicious.Went again this morning and can't fault service. Sticky fudge cake and gf risotto were devoured very quickly... yummy!
