Small free carpark beside the river bank, opposite to the Stokes Valley roundabout & entrance. It can be quite busy because folks drive in to walk their dogs and there is also a steady trail of pedestrian dog-walkers as well. Being so highly visible and close to the main road to Stokes Valley your car is quite safe when parked here. You may wish to stop and enjoy the views especially in Spring when the trees along the banks of the Hutt River are cloaked in a soft lime mantle or blaze golden with the rich hues of Autumn.
