Viva la Vaca provided their food truck service for the first night in our multi-day wedding.The food was DELICIOUS! The cooking trailer looked great and it was a lot of fun watching these guys prepare the beautiful and tasty food.The team were a pleasure to communicate with throughout the process, even though we planned our wedding from London. They were happy to work with us to make the food fit just right with our plans.We would love to do it all over again - thanks so much guys!

You won’t be disappointed with Viva La Vaca, they catered our wedding in January and we could not have been happier with everything from start to finish. Matu and Chelsea were a delight to communicate with and discuss what we wanted for our wedding day. The options were great to choose from and cater for all dietary requirements and all our guests were thrilled with the food and flavours and still talk about it to this day. Matu and Chelsea made planning our wedding catering a joy. Lots of delicious menu options, clear communication and great advice. On the day everything ran smoothly, the food was very well presented and everyone raved about the food. Dietary requirements were no problem for them.

We truly had the most amazing experience of having Viva la Vaca as the caterers for our wedding in December 2020. Matu and Chelsea are the dream team and are amazing communicators. Any questions that we had they were fast to answer them and any problem that we had they quickly came up with solutions. Our guests absolutely raved about the food on our wedding day and we even had some of the delicious salads to take home for a barbeque the following day. We loved having the choice of the different menu options and only wish that we were Nelson based so that we could spend more time eating more of Viva la Vaca's delicious food.

Matu, Chelsea and the team were the perfect choice for catering our wedding! The food was beyond amazing and they fitted right in with our relaxed rustic style. The food was freshly made onsite in their unique yellow food cart. It was easy to cater for all guests as they had heaps of meats, salads, vegetarian and gluten free options to choose from. Everything was on point right down to the communication and planning. We always make a point of visiting Viva La Vaca at markets around town for some delicious food and a friendly chat. Chels & Matias catered our family reunion and we cannot recommend them enough. They were easy to communicate with, punctual and they went above and beyond what we had asked for. They catered for any special dietary requirements and made sure no one missed out on the deliciousness they had created. The food was freshly made on the spot and was absolutely devine and far exceeded our expectations. Along with amazing food, Chels & Matias also provided us with some classic husband & wife entertainment. They are such a neat couple and an absolute pleasure to have around. We look forward to them catering for us again in the future.

We had Viva la Vaca cater our wedding and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the initial contact, the first meeting at our venue, the menu suggestions and alterations (we had vegans, vegetarians, GF, DF, and avid meat eaters!) right through to the delivery - absolutely seamless. The food was incredibly delicious and I am not exaggerating when I say that everyone commented on how special it was and how fun it was to have the food truck at the venue with the tempting aromas coming from it! We were lucky enough to have Viva la Vaca organise the catering for our wedding of 130 guests. From the get-go they were a dream to work with and by far the simplest part of our wedding planning because of their awesome communication. Matu and Chelsea are super relaxed in their approach but are also great at helping move things along and have thought of all the finer details, with lots of good advice. They are also super adaptable with the menu etc, nothing was a problem, making the whole thing stress-free. It was all so delicious, we had so many comments on how fantastic everything was, with so much care, love and attention that went into each dish evident on the day. There was even a standing ovation from our guests for Matu and his kitchen team after dinner to show our appreciation for the feast! Thank you Matu, Chelsea and your beautiful team. Viva La Vaca catered for our wedding in Feb 2023. They were amazing; organized, timely, and attentive. The food was incredible. Many people said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, including the vegetarians and vegans (who were 25% of our guests).Viva catered to our every need and on the day they even went out of their way to get us extra ice for drinks when we were running low, despite it not being their responsibility. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
