Captain's Bar
Staff member forgot second round of drinks (mojitos, so not cheap either) and forgot calamari. When mentioned as we left after waiting 20 mins with no service, she laughed and said oops. Then we only paid the one round that we had and left. Seriously such an annoying end to the night we had to leave and have a night cap somewhere else. 5 star hotels with a 1 star bar.

Very Good selection of spirits. Food very poor. Female staff member great but truly terrible service from the Gentleman Manager. An embarrassment to a great hotel.

We enjoyed a drink and nibble at the Captain's bar in the Park Hyatt. The bar has a nice atmosphere and we had a nice view from the window. The drinks were really nice and we enjoyed the complimentary nuts. Calamari was nice but would have benefited from aioli. The service was good but a few small touches would have been nice like being given two side plates with our calamari and telling us before closing the blinds suddenly. They were reopened later though, which was nice. Also to note we found it difficult to leave the building as many doors were locked. Eventually got out through carpark exit. Definitely worth a visit.

This is what an $18 glass of Akaru brut rose looks like at this bar. But it’s worse than it looks. This was after the server poured my drink and realised there was a splash left so he treated me to the last few drops. So actually this pour is actually an over generous serving. I don’t mind paying well for good wine but this felt like a scam.

Shhh. This place is awesome to see the sunset reflected on the cityscape. Don't tell anyone though! Great cocktails but at the pricier end of the budget.

For such a lovely hotel, this was a terrible hotel bar. On menu cocktails were poor, off menu were OK. There was nothing special about the bar. At best medicore - not something you would assoicate with the Park Hyatt

Nice venue as you expect by the water front. Classy and quite bar inside the Hyatt hotel with convenient access directly from outside also. Worth stopping by for few drinks.
