This place is absolutely professional!Super fair price and the stuff is phenomenal. Vince just set us up before we hit the road and made our way into the beautiful redwoods. I’ve never had an comparable bike experience like that before! Thanks to the whole team ! Keep it up

Recently had my bike serviced and received a txt to say service complete, turned up to pick it up and was told my bill was $703. ($300 of this was for the agreed service). The bike mechanic took it upon himself to replace $400 worth of parts without my approval. The fact I was not called to discuss this extra work is disgusting and the arrogance shown when I questioned the bill has tainted my loyalty with Cyclezone and Specialized. Furthermore my colleague dropped of his bike for a service the following day and the exact same thing happened to him upon returning to pick up his bike, a large sum of parts was added to his bill without his consent. I will be following this up with Specialized NZ and the commerce commission.My comment after response from Cyclezone:Nice PC response, no real apology. None of the parts replaced were mentioned at previous service.The arrogance shown by staff has clearly been taught by management.

Everything has a starting point. We proudly can say that Mateo´s passion and victories for Track Bicycle started with Bryce Shapley, at Cyclezone Rotorua during a summer vacations march 2018. First time visiting NZ from Argentina looking for Mateo´s first track bicycle. Bryce not only made possible to buy the Avanti bike but also inspired and awarness Mateo and us, regarding the track and the Velodrome at Cambridge. 2 years after that, we decided to come back to NZ and spend time at Cambridge to know the velodrome. We not only discover the Velodrome, but we found a community passionated and willing to help Mateo on his cycling adventure. Cambridge High School and all the community invited Mateo to share time and experience the kiwi´s lifestyle. After Covid-19 that dream come true. Mateo today is a young track and road athlete who compites worldwide. ¿What´s the difference between a Bike Store, and Cyclezone Rotorua? Bryce Shapley. Amazing friendly service from the Cyclezone team and I would highly recommend. I was travelling from the South Island and blew the seals in my Levo rear shock whilst riding in Taupo. The Specialized dealer in Taupo could not help, but Cyclezone had a replacement shock in stock and had it fitted within two hours of my dropping in my bike. And they charged me a very reasonable price.Cannot speak highly enough of the service that I received. You guys and girls are rock stars!

I had a mechanical issue very late (after shops had closed) on the second last day of a mountain biking trip to Rotorua. I called Cycle zone first thing and they told me they had the parts required and could fit them for me and get me back out on the trails.I took the bike in and picked it up within the hour. Not only were they friendly and efficient, the cost was also very reasonable. A great outcome.

These guys are absolute legends. Turned up with a broken bike just before a race, they managed to sort me out and get me rolling. They were helpful, didn’t make me feel like I was asking too much and were a pleasure to deal with

Hired some mountain bikes from here on Friday for the day $60. Very reasonable and the bikes were in good condition and good to ride. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable .

Christian and the team are awesome. I was in Rotorua for the Whaka and the guys unpacked my bike and got it ready for the race. They gave me great advice and put up with all my stupid questions. After the race Dan the Man did a total turbo pack so I could take my bike back on the plane. Fantastic. Thanks so much guys, you were great.

Walked out with the perfect bike, great salesman, knew the product well and did not Hassel us at all.

Just wow. Don’t normally post reviews, being a business owner myself. Paid for 2 bikes to be serviced and 1 puncture. Tyre flat not long after getting home. The guy is arguing with me. Questioning my explanation and patronising me at the same time.For the sake of a $10 tube you wanted to argue with me. Finally offers a free tube but sorry, why would I want to even see you right now. Will sort myself… lessons can be learnt here ..
