Just Thrive

I feel so lucky to have come across Just Dance 7 years ago when my daughter finally convinced me to look into ballet classes for her. Not only did my shy 4 year old join in classes, she developed her self confidence to the point where she now enters competitions. She has moved from ballet to doing 4 different dance genres and this is because of Carla and her incredible support and encouragement. We have seen Carla grow from holding a few classes in a hall to having a wonderful dance studio with fantastic teachers working alongside her to build a community.On top of that, Carla has supported me through some Pilates classes after being in an accident. Her knowledge of how the body works, and her way of sharing that knowledge to empower each individual (child or adult, dancer or not) is amazing.She is one of a kind and we can’t thank her enough x

To be honest they’re pretty average. I’m not doing names, as it is similar to trolling to say their names if I wouldn’t in person. When I used to do ballet, maybe a couple of years ago, I really struggled as I was doing three dances every week. It was very stressful. I struggled in ballet the most, and I received no help- I’m not criticising, as it was a huge class and me dropping out probably helped. Eventually, I quit another form of dance. I just didn’t want to have to have extension classes and it became to hip-hop like for me to like, anyways. It wasn’t until this term I stopped doing my last form. It had just become boring for me.Parents, make sure your kids enjoy dancing at all times, encourage them and don’t get them to do too much.Also as a reply to the owner’s reply, I like to stay anonymous on the web so that’s why my profile picture isn’t a face and my name isn’t an actual name. Also I created my google account over a year ago. I have been here and I can prove it by telling you that last year the shows are at the theatre at Forum North. Well not that that helps much. And in 2021 it was at I think it was Riverside theatre??

We have been lucky enough to be a part of Just Thrive for almost 7 years, it is an amazing community that Carla has created. It is made up of the perfect balance of love, creativity and determination that inspires children to discosover their love for dance and movement. I know my daughter absolutely adores Carla and her teaching team and I am so grateful we are are part of such a supportive community ❤

We love Carla and the team Just thrive. It was always Carla's passion about dance with kids. She alway puts kids first not for profit. She is the most down to earth person and has the best positive attitude for everyone. I remember when she hurt her knees she would not stop teaching!! She is really a good role model for kids and i would strongly suggest Carla and the team Just thrive.

I have two girls going to Just Thrive. Many years ago we moved to Just Thrive after attending another dance company and we have never looked back. Carla is so pationate about dance and well-being and is so dedicated to all of her students young and old. She really cares about people. She has created a space that all will feel welcomed with a sense of belonging.Carla and the teachers have supported my girls in studio and out of the studio which I believe is beyond what you would expect from a dance school.

The most beautiful, kind and caring dance community. I couldn’t wish for anything more for our children. Three of our children attend a range of classes throughout the week, and love every second. We are blessed to have Carla and Lena as our wonderful teachers ❤️ As a mum, dance is my favourite time of the day! My children thrive, and I have met some pretty special people myself. Just Dance is more than a studio - it’s a place of knowledge, love, acceptance, determination, patience, persistence, encouragement and community. Thank you for creating something so special Carla.

My girls have been dancing with Carla for seven years. Throughout this time I have watched them blossom under the guidance of Carla and her team at Just Thrive. Carla is one of the kindest people I know. She goes out of her way to support her dancers, their families and her community.She has a wonderful, gentle way of getting the best out of people!
