Active Massage Wanaka

Active Massage is excellent. I had two massages from Lauren and Gray, and they were both really great. Lauren worked on me right after a really tough tramping weekend when my legs were wrecked from a long, steep descent. She was extremely effective at getting my calves and quads back in working order. I liked my experience so much that I booked in again the next week (this time with Gray) and had another incredible experience. Gray is one of the most gifted massage therapists I have ever worked with. She is so good at finding the tight areas and getting those muscles to release. I was really impressed with how good my neck, shoulders, and forearms felt after my appointment. I highly recommend either of them to anybody and especially to athletes and active people.

Highly recommend. Booked a massage prior to the Motatapu marathon. One of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot ! Gray is friendly and clearly very experienced at dealing with athletes and their complaints. My run went really well and I’m sure this was a contributing factor. Lovely studio and bed was cozy. I had 60 min massage with Vic, after a long drive and aching limbs. Was absolute bliss i have a disc issue but was no problem for Vic also allergies this was no problem.Only in Wanaka on holiday however I’m squeezing one more massage in before i leave. Will most certainly visit Active Massage next time I’m here.Highly recommend. Spotlessly clean, Gray runs a very professional company.Thank you again.

I had a 45 minute massage with Laura. She really listened to the issues I was having with my leg pain and did a great massage which has really helped. I'm coming back next week again!

So great! Had a couple of massages with Lauren whilst down on holiday. Beautiful rooms (so handy to find), calming music, a therapist who listens and responds, leave feelimg amazing and reap the benefits for weeks - love it!Cheeky only downside, they're not in Wellington ;) ... Wish I could visit more often!

I wanted a vacation massage and I knew it would be a small miracle if I could find one on short notice that would fit my schedule, but Active Massage’s easy online booking system was perfect and…gasp!…there was a spot the next morning! The massage I had with Vic was delightful and the whole experience was positive. Exactly what I needed after hours of hiking and driving. Highly recommend this great business.

I was given a voucher to visit Gray at Active massage.. she is such a warm and friendly person. I am a little tender today but Gray has loosened everything up and I’m feeling fantastic. I will go back again! Highly recommend!

Got a 75 minute massage from Vic after 2 weeks of traveling and hiking. I was so pleased that I was able to make an appointment the day before and the location was walkable to get to. Vic did an amazing job and got so many knots and aches out of me. The only thing I didn't care for was that the room was kind of cool, but I was the first massage of the day, so maybe that's why it was cool. The blankets were warmed, so that made it better. Also, the music was a little too rhythmic for me to relax. I personally like nature sounds and simple music to help me loose tension. Overall, I was very pleased with it all and would highly recommend this place especially Vic. I passed on their name and business card to our Hunting guide in case they have other clients in need of a massage.
