I have recently adopted a puppy, who is quite timid. Jason and Sharon went out of their way to help my pup settle in to daycare at Pet Minders, spending two hours gradually helping her to adjust at her own pace before her first day, and ensuring she was not frightened by the barking of large dogs.Jason and Sharon are always friendly and accommodating, and have created a clean, engaging, and enjoyable environment for the dogs in their care.Their rates are very reasonable and they are flexible about when you can drop off and pick up your dog.I would recommend Pet Minders to anyone looking for dog boarding or daycare in Whangarei.

Luna absolutely loves her days at Pet Minders. She is happy and excited to be with her doggie friends. Sharon and Jason provide a safe, fun and caring place for dogs of all sizes. Pet Minders are highly recommended to all our friends and their dogs. We are definitely glad that we chose Pet Minders out of all the different places available in Whangarei.

Our dog absolutely loved it here. My first impression of the place was great, it was very clean and it was obvious a lot of care goes into looking after the dogs. The playground for the little dogs looked so cute and there was lots of bits and bobs for the bigger dogs to play with too. Will definitely be bringing our boy back here again if we are ever up north again.

Sharon and Jason have been literally life savers. My mums partner passed away and her dog Jax was grieving terribly and getting little exercise which wasn’t helping. Given Jax delicate state we looked at a few daycare centres and as soon as we met Jason and Sharon, we knew we’d found the right place for her. Fast forward 3 months and Jax is a different dog. She adores going and them and sits waiting for Jason to pick her up in the puppy bus. We cannot thank you enough for all you’ve done. For anyone looking for an awesome daycare where your dog will be loved and cared for, we cannot recommend Pet Minders highly enough.

Pet Minders are amazing! My 3 year old Border Collie absolutely loves it, the place is always super clean, there are different sections of indoor/outdoor areas the dogs can play in and Sharon and Jason are always so accommodating - they look after all the dogs so well. Hugo loves spending his days here and it’s peace of mind knowing he’s safe and looked after when I go away for the weekend as well. Great locally owned business with friendly owners!

Lov Petminders. The facilities are very nice. They are always adding new things to the place. Jason and Sharon are like part of the family now. They always help us with my fer baby. Highly recommend them.

I feel confident taking my border collie pup to Pet Minders, as the place is really clean and well looked after, both Sharon and Jason are lovely and take good care of the dogs. My dog also comes home fulfilled and happy (not grouchy and overtired like he was at previous places). There is heaps of space for the dogs to play and rest. They also limit the amount of dogs they have a day so it's not over crowded. They also have a Certificate in Dog Psychology and Training!
