An amazing place to spend your day visiting. Lovely grounds, a fantastic, huge, gift shop and the food is divine.I'll definately return to do a tour of Dot's dream castle when tours resume.A credit to all the wonderful, friendly people that provide such an awesome experience.

I have wanted to visit the castle ever since first hearing about it being built. I was SO excited to pull into the carpark today. A while to wait for the next tour so visited the shop for a wander. Found many gorgeous things and then was horrified to find a display of golliwogs for sale. I asked the lady at the counter why on earth they stocked such horrifically racist items. She tried to justify them and said they stock them because they sell. Not to me they don't. And neither would I spend a cent on the premises.

One of my absolute favorite places to visit. Packed full of beautiful treasures, there's something here for everyone. Prices are very reasonable as well as some antique high end goodies that are fit for a castle. The colours and twinkly lights will blow your mind in all its glory. It really is something out of a fairytale book!! And then there's the gardens. What can I say?!!? Truly amazing and inspiring and best of all the produce goes straight to the restaurant. A person can become very hungry with everything there is to see!!! I definitely recommend seeing Riverstone for yourself if ever you're in North Otago, New Zealand.
