I want to share my bad experience with Hays team of recruiters consisting of Ivet and her team mate . Despite my express desire that my referees should not be contacted unless my candidature is approved by their client and an offer is imminent , all phone interviews , role plays and virtual interview with their client was successful and robust checks including Fit2Work checks like Police Check , Employment Eligibilty check and MOJ Check and Credit Check which were all done in a record time frame with referees contacted and satisfactory reports obtained with offer in the pipeline , I was informed on the eve of my going overseas that the there has been stronger candidates and my successful candidature would not be taken any further. The advertised position was for a start up date of 7th Feb 2023 well after my return back from overseas . It was just a waste of time doing all assessments and checks including referee checks with me as a sucessful candidate congratulated on the success and the offer to be issued in due course but it was withdrawn at the last moment which looked like staging to me . I feel the offer was never there from the client but i was totally kept in the dark by over promise and less delivery and entire process was a sham and was handled in an unprofessional manner right from start by sending me a text to apply for a particular advertised role which the team thought I was suitable for me given my vast experience of the relevant industry exposure and based on my skill set and qualification. While the offer was reported to be in the pipeline from Ivet , yet another workmate of Ivet approached me to lure me for another position promising me a higher pay which was really surprising and shook my confidence which I term as a very casual approach to handling candidates declared successful earlier in another role while giving me undue assurances on my earlier success after clear communication in writing about both agency and client interview declared sucessful after completion of the very elaborate selection process just waiting for the offer to be issued which I was told was on the way .It is therefore not fair on part of all those candidates who count on agencies like Hays to entrust them with their CV in good faith to be treated in a manner like this which erodes the confidence of the candidate in the hiring process as well as hiring manager and reflects poorly on the entite team at Hays . I would in view of my bad experience with Hays would not recommend their services to any professional looking out for an opportunity through Hays and have decided to withdraw my CV from Hays as I am very happy in my current role and would not recommend anyone to fall prey to any text invitation to apply for a particular rolewhich seems like an eye wash exercise to me . It is unfair trade practice and also breaches privacy of the candidate who confides in one single recruiter until the process is completed.VKG

Put a side her highly recommended ability and professionalism, whats makes her special is her natural comforting personality that spreads out positive vibe. You can feel her genuine sincere attitude. Switching between jobs is practically and mentally challenging. Cynthia does a great service by making the whole process and transition smooth at ease. Cynthia is familiar and knowledgeable with the many architectural practices and directors, this gives her the edge in filtering and precisely match candidates and employers when suitable opportunities become available.
