Didn’t mind the food, medium chicken saagwala had good flavours, mild butter chicken was ok. Naan burnt. Parts still tasted ok.Thing that let it down was the amount of hair we found throughout the curry and one of the side sauces. Bit unappealing to find.Also one of the chefs was on his phone which doesn’t make for very good hygiene principles.Seems to have changed a lot (for the worse) since we last visited.

Food was amazing. I highly recommend the food, everything we ordered was delicious. Presentation and portion size was good for $$$.But lets talk about the lack of customer service and hygiene.Tables & floor was disgusting.We were just visiting family so we popped in for lunch. And how rude & unprofessional the service assistant was. Wont be dining in ever maybe takeaway but its a big “maybe”. They need normal plates and someone whose friendly and clean.

I can't fault Spice Traders. Definitely my favourite Indian place in Hawke's Bay. I've tried a few dishes from there. The ingredients are always fresh, everything is so delicious. My favourites are the lamb korma, fish malabari & dahi wada. The butter chicken & cheese & garlic naan are great also. Everything is. It just depends what your into. Such a great place. Fast, easy delivery. Thank you so much. 5 stars from me.

Thank you, very delicous meal, had the famous butter chicken, very nice, comfy seats snd reasonable price. Easy too access with plenty car parks and variety too choose from. The staff could have been more friendly like the last lady mentioned, but I absolutely will revisit as the food was worth it.Thank you

Horrible food! Curry was so runny like the consistency of water and very bland! Naan was OK at best definitely wont be visiting again. Such a huge dissapointment.

Worst service, I stood at the till while 4 staff and a convo amongst themselves without acknowledging me. This has always been my go to for curry but between the girl serving and the rest, I will not be back.
