Stunning beach but hidden so not so touristy. Added bonus of carparks, clean public toilets, outdoor shower, plenty of shade, lunch benches, white sandy beach also great for surfing and possibly fishing around the rocks. It's 5mins drive from Tairua Town centre. Highly recommended.

I fell in love with Tairua! There is heaps to do, lovely walks - especially around the estuary - cafes, boat trips and so on. It is also stunningly beautiful.
