Loved the gardens, and the fitness trail really excited our 14 yr old grandson. BUT the café was hopeless. They couldn't cope with the customers. We waited an hour for COLD food!!! Otgers were getting served with hot food all around us. Basically we were forgotten. The coffee machine broke down. The food ran out. One whole table got up and demanded their money back. I got refunded for my pie, as they had run out by the time we got hold of a staff member to ask where our food was. I recommend taking a picnic! Goodness knows how they will cope during the upcoming Garden Festival! I suggest they buy a coffee plunger as a back up, too.

I fell head over heals for this magical place. It was truly a magnificent site, and I loved walking through the gardens/ forest. We went during the rain to do the Kids Treehouse trail, which was so much fun. We had our rain jackets, so we were good to go. We also fueled up first and had lunch at their cafe, and wow, our food was delicious, and our view was incredible!

This garden didn't quite work for us. It is set in some lovely natural bush but then it had the industrial style metal walkway. There was the odd special spot like the waterwheel but the landscaping was very mass style reminiscent of towns roadside fill in for banks and islands. Lots of small plants just recently planted. It has potential and is a good size for a decent walk but for us the garden design is pretty average.

The best natural garden I’ve ever seen in the middle of nowhere. Incredibly well maintained and well marked with heaps of information provided! Great for all kinds of visitors especially families with kids. Highly recommended for a stop-by!

Family visit in light rain. The treehouse trail for kids was fun. You can pick up a bag from the cafe with treehouse treasure hunt items. The cafe items were delicious and well priced. Chicken bites and fries were a hit with the kids. We saw at least 6 Kereru too which was nice.
