Wow!! Reclining seats, food delivery and blankets. This was THE best movie experience I have ever had.The staff were super friendly and informative. The whole place was clean and tidy. The toilets even had coconut and vanilla soap in hand pumps - none of the generic push the wall mount and hope for the best.I cannot rate this place highly enough.

Great place to watch the new films but how they deliver food and drinks could definitely be improved, they messed up our order twice now as people got the wrong food and drinks while some people never received theirs at all.Love the concept but the execution just needs to be improved a bit overall, besides that though would definitely recommend for just popcorn and movie!

This place is amazing and I was super impressed by the food on offer and the free water. The chicken burger was huge and tasty and the kumara chips delicious. So much legroom along with comfy chairs. Silky Otter is the best!

For a great movie experience, I highly recommend Silky Otter Cinemas in Richmond. The recliner seats are incredibly comfortable, the food is delicious, and the washrooms are always clean and tidy.

I LOVE the cinema experience at Silky Otter Richmond. My only gripe is about the food. Yes...its expensive but I really wouldn't mind that if it was great. The signature fried chicken is absolutely bland and tasteless and the coating is just too hard. I was genuinely worried I would cracked a tooth. The burgers are soggy and verging on slimy. Ingredients obviously wet when added. You guys can do better!!

Comfortable seating, audio and visuals are all great. Toilet are all clean and hotel like. They also offer blanket for your usage during a film. Popcorn also are good

this place is awesome! sooo fancy i didn’t even feel like i was in nelson. the seats are very roomy and comfortable. i got the $20 chicken meal deal and it was great, cooked perfectly. highly recommend!

First time to watch a movie tonight at this cinema with 4 other friends. The Cinema, surrounding, decor and seats are beautiful.We are excited to try their food service. We order chicken and chips, unfortunately this is a let down. They delivery the food near end of the movie, very disappointing, no apologies for the delay. 2 ⭐ for poor customer service. Hope they can improve service and inform customers, about how long it will take to cook before the food will be delivered and people can decide for themselves if the length of time to wait for the food is worth it or not. Still a great cinema to watch movie but not in food service. We will have food somewhere else first next time before watching a movie in this cinema.

Love the comfortable recliner chairs. Helpful staff explained the touchscreen food ordering system, saved queuing, and was super easy to use. It's pretty luxurious having food delivered while you sit with your feet up watching the big screen movie. So yes, expensive food and drinks but nice for special treat.
