Daryn recently installed a roof top system to our house in Tauranga. He was great to deal with, came on time as arranged and on budget. Highly recommend to anyone considering.

In November 2018 Daryn installed a 5 kW system at our place in Palmerston North, and in February 2019 installed another 5 kW system. We have a pool that devours over 4 kW/h so a solar system is essential to save us from penury. With 48 panels and 16 batteries, we harvest enough power to heat the pool for eight hours on a sunny summer day and still usualy get through the night without importing power from the grid even when we use the oven and teenage daughter is gaming! A recent 1.5 h power outage did not affect us. Daryn went out of his way to ensure that we got an amazing system that fitted our requirements and the installation is very tidy. In August 2017 Daryn from Ecosmart visited our North Waikato home and installed a 5 kw solar system.In September 2018 we moved to Taupo where he installed a 6 kw system. During the course of both installs we found Daryn to be punctual, hard working, honest, up-front and efficient in every facet of the job. This included working on weekends to get the job done to his satisfaction. I have no hesitation in recommending Daryn to others. We have been extremely happy with the performance of both installations.

We had an 18 panel Ecosmart solar generating system put in a few months ago. I was impressed with the apparent quality of the components, and very happy with the standard of installation by Daryn, who showed a great attention to detail, and a thorough knowledge of the entire system. As well, it was ideal having Daryn arrange everything to enable us to draw power from the grid if necessary, while selling any unwanted generated power back to the grid.Since installation, and particularly with summer being upon us, we are now easily meeting all our power requirements from the solar system, and selling electricity back to the grid. It will be a year before we know exactly the annual balance , but we expect to never pay for electricity, and quite possibly be in credit of around $500 to $1,000 per year. In addition, we are now independent of any of the frequent power outages that occur in this region, and in the event of a power cut, expect with careful management of power consumption to be able to stay off-grid indefinitely.So far, we are very happy and impressed with the new system.

Daryn put in a 5.2 kw system into our Raglan property last July 2018. He did a great job and the system is working wonderful. Even getting some money back during the summer months. He also supplied 2 timers that I can set either on a schedule or manually from my phone so my spa and hotwater heater work when the sun shine even if i'm not home.

I am very satisfied with Ecosmart - the installer of my solar system mid 2018. Having compared with other suppliers they offer excellent systems at considerably lower cost. There is real advantage dealing directly with the owner/installer who has the knowledge and genuine interest in the customer. Ecosmart is all about saving the client money - both in the installation and with ongoing savings on electricity. I highly recommend them.

We chose Daryn @ Ecosmart to install our solar panels. The choice was easy after such clarity with pricing, installation timing and Daryn being such a pleasant man to deal with.The installation was done within time frame given and the job and site left clean and tidy. Our property is rural and did require more changes to meter - Daryn assisted us with all the information required to make these changes. Disappointing as I had lots of questions I wanted to discuss face to face. Google maps sent me to Te Rapa, Waze sent me to new industrial area where I ended in unfinished road with partly vacant commercial buildings. No signs of any kind about your business. When I called I got told you were not open SAT although Google states you were until 2pm (i have edited the hours since then). Since I can't get what I need I guess someone else will get the deal. I hope these are only teething problems.
