Not surprised at all on entering the bp shop..No acknowledgment from staff member at cashier counter. Waited to be served or even acknowledgement that i was waiting to be served. Finally decided to serve me but no hello nothing spoken ..not even a can i help you how can i help you.just a look..at the of serve..i said thank you and my change was put on the counter in front of me and then the staff member walked away. Still not having said anything. Thats it.

Good people poor coffee always burnt

Don't come here if you're a tourist, Yelper, or someone who otherwise likes taking photos of cool foods or products because you won't be welcome here! The cashier literally confronted and yelled at my wife for taking pictures of the ice cream flavors because we thought they were cool and different from back home. There are no signs stating photos aren't allowed, and come on, it's a convenient store at a gas/petrol station!I was going to buy ice cream and coffee but then walked about after our experience with the cashier. As if taking a picture of ice cream would damage their products or cause any kind of privacy issues!Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. This was towards the beginning of our trip, so it created the assumption in my mind that this is how people act in this country. But I'm thinking this was just one crazy and power-hungry lady and business.

Great food. Friendly, very helpful staff. Clean and inviting premises. Excellent range of things for sale. Disabled parking and entrance has easy access.

What a fantastic place to stop, refuel the vehicle & our bodies. A great BP & the shop has plenty of food, emergency car supplies.

Great place to stop and take a breather during the night - plenty of space to park my little yellow toy. Great service, clean restrooms and deeeeeelicious chicken bites and coffee, thank you :-)

RUDE cashier. Just stopped in.This is the first petrol station I'd ever visited in NZ. Walked in and it looked really nice.My husband wanted a coffee and an ice cream, so after stopping at McDonald's across the street, we came here.I write reviews on Google, Yelp and Trip Advisor, - and this place didn't even have a listing - so I was taking some photos of the products available. The ice cream had some unique flavours not available back home.The cashier called me over, incredulously asking me why would you take a photo of ice cream?!" I said
