$23.50 for each of these meals. Extremely disappointed with portion sizes. We were told they were running low on wedges. Unsure how that’s our problem. Apricot Chicken burger and wedges were both tasteless. Tomato sauce? Vegetable Salad (Dairy free) came missing halloumi and Chorizo, which are typically non-dairy. No attempt to replace these items if they were dairy. Staff were grumpy and tired and brought us the table next to ours drinks. Beautiful view, nice art. Very disappointing visit. Left hungry. Will not be coming back.

Beautiful place to be. The Ocean views are spectacular, the Gallery is full of incredible Original Art and Craft work from Contemporary to Cultural to refreshingly Modern. The Cafe Menu allows for choices across a lovely mix of food and beverages which are Yummyliscious and the service is friendly and casual yet efficient....The beautiful garden walks are an added bonus as is the Outdoor Chessboard and the lovely little places on the walk to sit and chat while relaxing in the bushlike surroundings. We love being in this place...it's a 'have to visit' place for us when we're in Whangarei - AND it's just a 32 km drive away.

An incredibly nice little gem on the side of the road hidden away. So glad i found this place, the atmosphere and the view is absolutely stunning. And the food and staff are just so lovely too.Highly recommend the burger. It's just so fresh and got so much flavour. And top it off with one of their sweets from the cabinet!

It's a beautiful spot but the food was a complete letdown. This place cries out for some fresh food, salads, home baked goods but instead we got overcooked eggs and really overly heavy wedges. Really limited menu and nothing any of us wanted to eat tbh but not much choice in the area.

Very disappointed. Visited for my birthday lunch at the end of Feb after having visited many times in the past. Views spectacular as always but we were greeted by a virtually empty display cabinet at 12.30pm and a menu that I thought was a breakfast menu. Very basic and the food was not great when it came. The menu was full of breakfast items with lots of eggs and to top it off the “special” was poached eggs on toast!

Wonderful food. Great view. Friendly staff. Only issue, is the dog poo lying around the parking. We stepped in so many piles of dog poo. Disappointed in the fact there are signs no dogs allowed, yet there is poo lying around. Other than that beautiful place.

Brilliant views, excellent atmosphere, Great food and service. Next a lovely walk round a frog-filled pond, and thru the car park to see the animal artwork. Finally spent ages walking thru a most exquisite art gallery. Plenty to see inside and out, well worth the 40 min drive to spent a couple of wonderful hours with great views, service and food.
