Iconic place in New Plymouth. It is the old face built on the same site as the original clock Tower. Which became an earth quake risk

Built in the 80's and is showing its age. Would have been nice to climb the stairs to the top for view but it was locked.

Stairs are closed and no longer allows you to climb up. I read a comment that says there are toys playing out the window every hour for 5 minutes but that’s a mixed up comment. No toys playing like towers in Europe. The night lit up is quite stunning to see.

Very disappointing, when I was part way up, the gates to the platform were locked, had hoped to take photos of the two iconic buildings opposite.

Great sight seeing spot, actually there is a bit of construction work, so you can’t see the whole beauty.But the real star is on the other side, amazing building, it looks like a big mirror. That reminds me of the bean in Chicago.
