First time here, such a lovely venue resembling a vineyard estate. The food was pretty affordable but the highlight was the hot chocolate and artisan marshmallow that came with it. Highly recommend.

Loved everything about this place. The setting, the ambient, the vibe, the green, the layout, the menu, the food, the staff, the coffee.Unreal little european cafe, feel so foreign for NewZealand. Definitely a gem to visit in Mangawhai.

I have been to Bennetts many times but this is my first review. The place looks lovely with all the olive trees at the entrance. Their chocolates are fantastic and staff are very friendly and helpful.

What a pleasant surprise. Had it not been for a detour, I'd never have known it existed. I had a lovely snack in the Cafe,and went away with a stash of chocolates for myself and the people I was staying with. I'll certainly travel that away again next time I'm headed north.

I've been to Bennetts of Mangawhai a couple times and everytime I love it, the food is amazing, and the chocolate is delicious!! Such an amazing cafe.

Stopped in for a coffee after a disappointing experience at another cafe. We were very pleased we did. Lovely cabinet food on offer which we decided to partake in, had three desserts, coffee and tea. Service was lovely. Place clean and tidy. Chocolates delicious.

We came here daily 3 days in a row. The food was a hit for breakfast on all 3 days. Absolutely loved their version of French toast. The cabinet food was also declicious.I loved the creamed rice and sandwiches and pretty much everything we ordered.The highlight was the hot chocolate where they give you a bar of Benetts chocolate. This magically melts in the drink and makes it even more divine.Would come back here again and tell everyone about it.Worth the drive and stopping by.Best to goEarly morning on weekends to avoid crowds so you can get a good seat. Their set up is great and the service is brilliant.

You definitely have to stop on this cafe between Auckland going to Whangarei or somewhere north and try their chocolate, and eat at their rustic and well presented cafe!So much choices for the chocs, definitely a haven for chocoholics like me!Cafe downside is when it gets too much busy, you might need to wait a bit longer for your orders to arrive. Nonetheless, highly recommended place at Mangawhai!

Very well done. The atmosphere is fantastic. Chocolate tasting and you can see them making it. We’ve bought a selection to try. The prices were very reasonable for a quality product. I was surprised to see the range of wines.
