The food here is very authentic and the staff are very friendly. We had nasi lemak, nasi kurma and chicken + chips. Loved the sambal on my nasi lemak and nasi karma!!

Delicious food with stunning view outside the window. There are few tables outdoor as well. We had spicy buttermilk chicken and Malaysian curry. it was very delicious and spicy. Loved the level aromatic spices.Very clean place with space for praying room, relaxing area and clean toilets especially near the airport. Very hospitable staff too. Can’t ask for anything better.

Malaysian in NZ who want to find home food tastes back in Malaysia. Here is the place to go. Nasi lemak and keropok lekor tasted similar when I had them in Malaysia. I wish the sambal could be as spicy as the one we usually had in Malaysia. But understand that here it is hard to find some ingredients in NZ.

This is a must-go restaurant for those who want to try or simply missing Malaysian food. They have Nasi Lemak, Teh Tarik and surprisingly Keropok Lekor. They also have reading area, and hangout place where you can play snooker for free. Lots of other facilities such as prayer room, parking lot and very close to Queenstown airport. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The view is simply amazing to enjoy the Nasi Lemak amd teh tarik. However, I hope they can improve the sambal. Keropok Lekor is awesome and teh tarik too

The best *halal* food in the world! Their nasi lemak, curry puff, teh tarik (hot tea) and iced hazelnut latte is to die for! Delicious food, great service and friendly staff. Bonus point for the wonderful view. Please come visit if you are in Queenstown. Highly recommended.

Very clean cafe, with a view of The Remarkables. 100% Halal in Queenstown. Kids loved the chicken fry and Chips. Food is Authentic and Flavourful. Asian Food? The Kommunal it is! From an Asian (I.e. Singaporean/Malaysian), this cafe truly brought us home! We were missing the food back home a little and decided to give this a try. Zero disappointment and happy tummies filled! Will definitely stop by when I visit Queenstown again in future!Must Haves:• Teh Tarik (Taste truly Malaysian!)• Nasi Lemak (Fried Chicken is done Malaysian Style)

The Teh Tarik is absolutely delicious- amazing Malaysian style milk tea. I also tried the Nasi Lemak, which was also a 10/10 for me. The staff was friendly and kind. If you’re a climber, there is a climbing gym right next door so swing by this place after your climb!
