Muriwai Surf School
It was my first time surfing and I had a great beginners experience. The instructors, Dylan and Batiste are very knowledgable and friendly. They taught us how to position ourselves and to stand up on the board. There were also photos taken for the group which was really nice to have. Highly recommend :)

Muriwai Surf School
I would definitely recommend Muriwai Surf School - they are an awesome bunch of people. I completed the Advanced Beginner course at the end of 2022 with Dylan and Thomas and had heaps of fun. The boys gave us heaps of individualized feedback, pushed our limits and helped me become a lot more confident in the water. My surfing has definitely improved and I will be back for more. Thanks guys for the great experience :)

Love these guys. I did the Advanced Beginner course with Dylan and Thomas. Loads of feedback on my surf technique and even more laughs. My surfing has improved hugely and I've had the best time doing so. They strike a great balance between making sure you're comfortable whilst pushing your limits. Sort of don't want to leave a review so the courses don't get booked up ;) Thanks again boys xx

I booked the 3 x intermediate one-on-one private lesson package with Muriwai Surf School and it was great. My confidence in the surf has improved heaps and I have learnt some new techniques to ride the wave better. The instructors were great and very professional. Definitely recommend if you’re wanting to take your surfing to the next level.

Muriwai Surf School
Had an amazing time with these guys during a beginner’s group class last Friday. Despite the recent devastation and complications following the floods, they have somehow managed to get back on their feet and provide a day full of ease, fun and pure delight. Big thanks to our teacher (James, I believe) —his love for surfing was contagious! Both his patience and clear instruction enabled me and my partner to catch nearly every wave we went for. We’ll be back, thank you!

The lesson was SO FUN, Dylan was an awesome teacher to both my partner and I who were beginners. He was really supportive, patient and helpful. Would highly recommend this school :)
