Not good. Batter on fish (what little stuck...) was brown and soggy. Chips were ok but not great. Will avoid this place.Was there 4 weeks ago on a Friday night. Ordered fish, chips (scoop was pitiful) sausage and hashbrown (that couldn't hold itself together to be picked up...) our meal looked nothing like the pics from other reviews!

It's excellent, best fish'n'chips in the CBD.This place embraces the quintessential kiwi fish'n'chip shop aesthetic and vibe so I had high hopes for the food. I was not disappointed, the food is fantastic too. Highly recommended.

I get curly fries wrapped in paper and there’s normally a decent portion that I can hardly finish. But tonight who ever was working, put them in a burger box and only literally got a hand full of curly fries. For $5.50 that is pretty ratchet.

This is truly a hidden gem for local food. Went in tonight with a tight budget. Got raw fish just for $6.50 which came with Maori fry bread to my surprise. The lovely lady there explained me what they were as I had no clue. As an outsider to New Zealand I felt a warm welcome with their friendliness and fast service.Raw fish was done in island style, was absolutely delicious! Maori bread otherwise known as Paraoa parai was golden brown and bit crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. What a great combo for a great price! Would definitely go back again.

Good honest fish and chips - not the best in NZ but for k-rd it's pretty decent, light, crispy batter and fresh seafood. Love the Mortal Combat arcade game. affordable, fast, chill fish and chips. The batter was slightly herbaceous for my liking but still decent.
