Whitianga is really lucky to have this fantastic boarding kennel and doggy daycare facility, so great to see all the happy little furry faces, they just love it.Also the convenience of having the little shop there is great too - a one stop shop for all our dog needs.Really nice to spend a day out on the boat or exploring Coromandel, knowing that your fur baby is at Shine Canine also having lots of fun.

I recommend Shine Canine. Tarah is the best dog trainer I've ever met. She is passionate and knowledgeable. Your family dogs will enjoy the time with her and her heartfelt care.

The best thing we did is attend these classes. Such valuable learning tools for a happy pup and happy parents.

I attended the life skills lessons with withy little staffy squid. Highly recommend, Tarah is absolutely amazing and very skilled, every thing is explained so easily and I gained way more confidence in training my puppy.

WOW!! I have attended 2 Life Skills training sessions with my puppy and I am SO impressed with Tarah and Shine Canine. The set up there is amazing. Large, clean and so dog friendly. The class was run in such a professional manner yet friendly and fun. Easy to follow and so much backup material so you can continue to teach your puppy for the rest of its life. Fantastic value for money, I will recommend it to everyone I meet!

Love the waterproof dog bed cover. Have ordered another one. Recently threw out 2 dog beds as the inner foam had a terrible smell. The new cover's should stop that happening again.

We have three doggies, all different and one problematic (untrained). They take such great care of all of them, and work with the needs for each individual dog. We use them for daycare weekly, and recently two of them had a four day stay. They came back calm and this has given us peace of mind to be able to go away and have our dogs in safe hands. Both Tarrah and Katrina communicate excellently regarding on how our dogs are doing. They understand and care for our wee pack. I find the whole experience with Shine excellent. Its a safe environment for our dogs to have socialisation and fun good dog times. Would recommend whole heartedly.

Thank you to Tara and the team for looking after our baby! It was Ziggy’s first time staying away over night and he was so well taken care of. Tara sent through updates and videos to reassure us too. Ziggy came back calm and happy. We will be back again soon.
