I would like to say that having lived in South Korea for 15 years, this food experience was very good. Zzan chicken is a nice blend of a 'hof' in South Korea (a hof in South Korea is loosely a bar or pub). My wife took to the menu with enthusiasm and ordered for use and our daughter two lots of deep fried chicken pieces; one garlic and soy another soy with mayo. A rraditional Korean pancha". This is seafood in an egg and flour batter. The last dish was squid tentacles in spicy sauce with cabbage and other pieces of meat. Pork I think. I admit to not reading the menu that closely. This dish was served first and even though it was spiced

Authentic Korean restaurant offering a good selection of anju. They also have a good selection of flavours of korean fried chicken which were very delicious. Unfortunately we were seated right at the back where the arcade is at and it was so noisy that it was hard to have a conversation. Would recommend getting a table towards the front of the restaurant where it is quieter.

First time here, my friends and I had been excited to visit zzan since it first opened.The fried chicken was delicious, gamja tang was very flavorful (however the potatoes did have a strange after taste) our favorite item we had was the chicken bulgogi and the soju cocktail (mint, cucumber and lemon).The atmosphere was amazing, and the perfect vibe to go with food, drinks and friends.The wait staff were super helpful, especially in suggestions about food quantities.There was only one small issue with having no side plates or utensils when served our food, but that was quickly sorted.Will definitely be back to try more.

Great food, good to go with friends and share. We had a fried chicken platter (2 flavours) and tteokbokki. Slightly more on the pricey side but good food still. Also has an arcade/game/karaoke area.

We ordered a size medium tteokbokki pot which we thought would be big enough for 3 but I think for next time we would get a large so were a bit more full. The price is okay for the amount of food your getting we ended up spending $90 for 3 people where we were moderately full. Though the food itself was really tasty I think just portion and price wise was a little on the downside for us. :)

Worst dining experience in Welly.We went yesterday afternoon and ordered 2 flavoured chicken (half) and a shared beef pot. Both of us are suffering from food poisoning today. I actually thought it could be something else causing the pain - I just tried some of the chicken that we took from yesterday, I am again feeling really bad now.I have also visited Zzan Christchurch and the experience was great.I’d be questioning the food safety of this place. I would not visit the place ever again .
