Tacos Tocayo
So far, the most genuine mexican taco that have tried in New Zealand, (I'm from Mexico) Fish, and Adobada Pork super delicious. The sauce is really super good as well. There is also a vegan option with nopales, ingredient hard to find overseas.

I tried their grilled beef taco as well as the chicken chipotle. Both were delicious! The tacos popped with flavour, and I found 2 the perfect medium snack size (not quite a meal). Their 3 for $15 special is enticing and great for a snack with more than 1 person. Tocayo's atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the staff are welcoming and enjoyable. I'll be back for sure!

Some of the best tacos I’ve had in Aotearoa. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. Loved the special hot sauce too! Will be back soon for sure.

Love Mexican food, usually love the island papamoa, but really disappointed with the food at Tacos Tacoya tonight. I hope they work to improve those green spongey things they called tacos :(

What a joy to find real Mexican food. Vegetarian, vegan or meat eater, this restaurant is great. Nopales tacos - yum! Tacos adobados- great if you eat pork. The beans are perfect. One happy Californian!!

Real friendly owner who's in it for the love of God authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend the Carne Asada fries. Good value for money too

The best tacos in town! Rodolfo and team catered our wedding and everything was perfect - from the flavours to the presentation to their professionalism. They kindly provided a full vegan offering for us as well.Muchas gracias!!
