Dined there for dinner 7/3/23 . Had a wood fired pizza that is actually gas fired.Unfortunately it was the worst pizza I think I have ever had. 45 minute wait for a drink. Went to the bar twice only to be told sit down and a waitress will be with you shortly. 1hr 45 minute wait for our meal. Manager was extremely rude. One lovely waitress in tears. Will never return and will certainly not recommend two fat possums to my friends and family.

1st time there. We are on holiday from Hamilton.The meal came out quick. Nicely presented and was very tasty.Service was great. Good value for $$$

We had the cod and the classic beef burger. Which were both excellent. Since we are locals it’s great to have somewhere you can just throw on the jandals and pop around to for dinner and a couple of beers. Very friendly staff. Nice way to have a lovely dinner after a hard days work.

Lovely place for a meet up lunch midday. Great service and delicious food. Struggled to eat it all so had to stay till we did. Left about 4 hours later lol. Shared lunch rather than a meal. So good. Thank you. Bringing other half to test taste soon

Staff are lovely, very attentive and the service was quick.The menu is great, some of the mains you can choose the meat, then choose two different sides from a list. Lots of options.We started with cheesy garlic bread which was great. Then I had the chicken with mushroom sauce, duck fat potatoes and the beetroot salad. The salad was so good!My husband had the pork belly with duck fat potatoes and ranch slaw.The pork belly and apple was delicious (I tried a little) and I'm not a huge fan of pork!At first I thought it might be a bit cosy being next to a decent sized group there for a birthday, but we could easily carry our own conversation.Absolutely be going back!

Nice and quiet atmosphere great food, different areas to sit in indoor and outdoor. Great menu simple but easy to choose from.Great selection of beer on tap l, good wine too.. Friendly country people that sevres you.

Came here for NYE family dinner, everyone loved it! The food was spot on, reasonable prices with good menu variety and portions. We had such a hard time deciding on what to order as everything sounded absolutely amazing. The ribeye steak and crispy pork belly were extremely satisfying. Seafood chowder with garlic bread was amazing too. Creme brulee was perfectly made. Staff were so warm and friendly, very good with the kids. Only wish they had a baby change room, but still giving 5 stars coz it's been so long since we've had such a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.

Fantastic Dogs allowed in the outside section, heat turned on & then nobody came for our order. Went inside to order & very nice lady came out too take our order. Worst Woodfire Pizza ever! Asked half amount of cheese, scraped it off, almost zero sauce & toppings. Not once asked how the meal was, not even while paying. Hubby's Curry was OK, barley.... Sadly, we won't be back!!

Really god food. I was there between lunch and dinner so we have some of the snacks and snacks bites menu.Friendly staff, very good customer service , great and tasty food.Will be great if dogs will be allowed in the outdoor area
